Family Fitness Night at St. Anne’s School

Posted on March 22, 2014 | in News | by

On behalf of the planning committee, I would like to thank you for your participation in our Family Fitness Night at St. Anne’s School. The fencing demonstration was very stimulating and the student participation was extremely popular! Many, many of our young students had never observed a fencing match, much less held a saber in their hand. To actually dress in the protective clothing and mask and experience the fencing sport was the highlight of their evening! Your team worked very hard with the children, dressing, coaching, teaching and encouraging them. Some of the children are still talking about their introduction to fencing; they are the future enthusiasts of the sport!

Our educational event was successful because of your generous gift of time, talent, energy and enthusiasm. Our students experienced new activities, tasted healthy snacks and had fun in the process! I believe many families were encouraged and inspired to live healthy active lives and choose healthy foods.

Thank you, Coach and Sharol, for helping us achieve our goal of introducing healthy lifestyles to our students and families.

With sincere gratitude,

Stephanie McManus
